Unlock Core Memories ❤️ But Make It Cake
Detroit-made custom cakes and desserts that transform childhood flavors, favorite photos, and personal stories into edible celebrations.
✨ Because Cake Hits Different When It Feels Like You.
About SmeeGee’s Cakes & Treats
✨SmeeGee’s Cakes began as my love language. As a child, I made mini cakes in my Easy-Bake Oven for my mom just to see her smile. She was the queen of thoughtful surprises - the kind of person who gave the best Bday cakes because she truly paid attention. That same “I see you” energy inspires every dessert I create today
👩🏽🍳WHAT UP DOE! I'm Chef Gege, CEO of a Detroit dessert brand known for nostalgic flavors & personalization. My Signature - Strawberry Crunch Cakes inspired by the Good Humor ice cream bar ( You know the one) to Edible Photo Tribute Cakes & heartfelt stories. I create desserts that honor, unlock Core Memories & make people feel celebrated!
❤️Fun fact: “SmeeGee” was my childhood nickname! Whenever my older cousin visited, toddler Gege would offer her some sweets. She began calling me “Sweet Ge,” but I mispronounced it as “Smee Ge.” The name stuck, and from then on, she greeted me with, “What’s up, SmeeGee?” It feels fitting that a nickname born from sharing sweets with someone I loved became the name of my dessert business. At SmeeGee’s, it’s about more than dessert - it’s about creating connections and nostalgic experiences:
